I have been exploring many different fields of photography. My first interest was in the fine arts but I worked extensively in advertising, portraiture, fashion, architecture, landscape and even packshots.
In most, if not all, of the experiences I had so far, I have not worked on a particular theme in the scope of producing a story.
I now have a strong desire to tell stories not only through single images but also through a coherent series of images.
The political, social and cultural landscape is changing dramatically in my country, in particular, but also throughout the region and the world in general. I feel it is, in part, my role as a Photographer to point out these changes, to follow their developments, document them and present them in a coherent body of work.
The purpose is not simply documenting for the sake of documenting. My ultimate goal is to be an instrument of positive change as I have a strong faith in the power of images and in the medium of photography.
